Digital Art: UX Testing & Feedback

 I tested my website with using the UX testing. This is a testing for taking user's feedback related to their experience of using the website. First I created a form for user's feedbacks with 8 question and 4 different responses for each question. Then I putted the link into my website under the contact page. 


Here is my website's UX testing and feedback.


In my UX testing I got 8 feedback. This responses were about my homepage design. Most of the people liked the design of the homepage. But it still can be improve because %75 people responded as good and it will can be perfect with some changes.

 

The second question is about the menu links and social links work correctly or not. % 62.5 people said it worked perfectly however %25 of people said it was good and %12.5 people said it is fair. Then I checked my links and I saw that the link in the LinkedIn was going to people's own accounts not mine. Then I changed the link in the LinkedIn and tried again and now its working.



Next question is about 'Does the homepage clearly show both visually and with text what the website is about?'. Everyone understand that what is homepage represent . And it is a clear image to understand. 



Other question is about the about me page. Responses are fifty fifty. Half of the people didn't like my biography found boring. The other half of the people found good and enough information for biography.
I'll make some changes in my biography to make it better and easy to read. 


Next question is about the about page's looking. %75 people of responders found it is good and pleasing.  %25 people of responders found it can be change and write more in biography. I will change some writings in my biography and I will add more information about me.  


Next question is 'Do all the gallery pages work?'.  %25 people of responders said it is not working , I can't open any pages. And other %25 people found it is fair. I wasn't complete to publish all of my design boards into the gallery page. I'll upload it as soon as possible. And it will look better with all design boards.




Next question is ' Can you go back and forth through the gallery pages easily?'. %25 people of responders found it is bad and not working. So I checked my back and forth buttons. In mobile view the forth button which in about and contact page work properly. However I forgot the put back button in portfolio page. I'll ad back button to my portfolio page and try that if it's working or not. 


The last question is about the experience of going through the site. 1 person found it is boring and links are not working. 1 person found good, everything work in website. 2 people found its fait it need to be improve. 4 people found its great and interesting. My website is not finished yet so I'll fix some issues and make a better website.


Finally, everyone made some suggestions about my website. I read every suggestion carefully and I'll make some changes with looking the suggestions.

Sequential Image Class Practice

We completed a class practice on creating sequential images this week.  I decided to take a couple of live photos of me and my friend are jumping . This pictures shows our actions and movements from standing to jumping into the air.  I used Iphone 14 Pro phone. I used 'burst' option in the camera and I set the timer for 5 seconds to capture our picture in the air. These are the settings below. In these pictures we inspired by Jumping Horse (1887) by Eadweard Muybridge. His photos include one horse and the man on the horse are jumping over an obstacle. And we decided take similar pictures like his photos which I put down below. And these are my original pictures.  The next step is that I am going to put my images together in Pixlr Editor. Major project : Initial ideas

 For digital arts I'm going to create project for our subject area. My subject area is interior design.   contemporary minimalist design of living room   I looked up some interior designs to decide what kind of design I wanted to do.
